Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years required License: Must have state RRT license in hand Certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS required Must-Have: Experience in pediatric, NICU, and PICU high-level care Description: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications are required. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Candidates must have a state RRT license in hand. The role involves working in NICU, PICU, and CVICU with pediatric patients. Floating to other facilities may be required. Experience in pediatric care, PICU, and NICU is essential. Scheduled shifts will be 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours. All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during the submission and interview process. Travelers will need to complete two fingerprinting processes. All work history, including previous positions, must be included in the profile. All required certifications must be provided at the time of submission. Background checks will be conducted on all candidates. The facility is smoke-free and requires candidates to be nicotine-free. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months of starting. Candidates may extend their contracts for a period of 18 months, after which a break is required. Travelers who do not comply with annual competency requirements will be removed from the schedule until completed. Modules are billable, and additional time for pre-start modules is non-billable.
