Automotive Sales Associate Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchase process
• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles and options
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Prepare and present purchase options clearly and professionally
• Work with management and the finance team to finalize deals
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow dealership procedures
• Follow up with customers to support satisfaction and repeat business

Automotive Sales Associate Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly compensation, which varies based on experience, role level, and performance
• Commission compensation, which may be earned based on the value or amount of closed vehicle sales

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $16.90 to $30.00 per hour. Commission compensation may be $0.00 if no sales are made, with no fixed upper limit other than sales performance. Actual compensation will vary based on job-related factors such as experience, qualifications, performance, and business needs. Commission compensation is not guaranteed.

Automotive Sales Associate Qualifications

• Prior retail sales or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a goal-oriented, performance-driven environment
• Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset
• Ability to learn dealership systems, processes, and product knowledge
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
